Pick a favorite tv series/show, story ,or game and design 5 props for that particular project.

Remember lecture on visual identifiers that connect your props to your story interest.

Animation Assignment

Design props for a girls bedroom or boys bedroom, age 7 to 13.

(This is an example) Pick theme traits to help define props in the room matching the gender & background of the child:
Personality Trait- Adventure
School Interest- Math, Science Astronomy
Hobby- Hiking
Background- from Sweden, from Spain & like Soccer

PROPS to DESIGN

1. Fun lamp 

2. Telephone

3. Backpack with multiple pockets (front & reverse views) (and open view)

4. Portable radio(for mp3 palyer) with 2 attached speakers ( could have open & close view)

5. Multi level art desk with side props (light, pencil cup , trays, computer screen or other items)
(One view is fine)

Other props that you can add after these five are finished-you can add more props to an
 existing prop/design-
Book shelf with toys
Closet storage of toys and boxes
Bed with night stand
Large tech instrument in room

Game Design Assignment

Interior of a science lab

1. A lock box for transporting nuclear material, rugged design ( no larger than a suitcase)

2. Portable nuclear radiation scanner (front & reverse reviews)

3. Military style backpack with rope

4. Large caliber weapon, rifle based 

5. Computer station- used for missile targeting station with 1 or 2 screens, and electronic devices

Think about adding extras the embellish your designs and don't leave them plain. All props should be presented when finished on a 11x 17 finished presentation.
